Oleksandr (Sasha) Lykhosherst grew up in the village of Horenka near Kiev and lived in nature.
He started drawing at an early age and had been drawing ever since he can remember.
He attended the local secondary school and took part in children's art workshops.
Studied at the Taras Shevchenko Republican Art School.
Military Service
He has been active as an artist in various organisations since 1990.
Over the last 30 years Sasha has been involved in painting, monumental art, mosaics, woodcarving, sculpture, ceramics, applied art (stoves, fireplaces), interior and landscape design, church painting and iconography.
"I don't belong to any creative associations or organisations.
Since February 2022, I have been a volunteer defending Kiev."
Now he works with many charitable foundations and organisations and participate in cultural projects to support Ukrainians.
